Still Reaching. Still Teaching. Still Releasing.
Biblical discipleship at CRC follows a three-part pattern: reaching, teaching, and releasing. Reaching means helping people meet Jesus by going beyond our comfort zones, just as Christ did when He went to all cities and villages. Teaching involves helping people know Jesus through God’s Word, fellowship, shared meals, and prayer, following the early church’s model in Acts 2. Releasing means helping people serve Jesus by denying themselves, taking up their cross, and following His example. A church that only reaches produces crowds, one that only teaches produces students, but a church that does all three produces disciples who look like Jesus. True discipleship requires moving from being a spectator to actively serving in God’s kingdom.
