Bishop Carlton C. McLeod

Founding Pastor

Read Bio

Bishop Carlton C. McLeod is the founding pastor of Calvary Reformation Church. In 1997, he and his wife Donna began meeting with a small group in their living room, trusting the Lord to build His church through the faithful preaching of Scripture and intentional discipleship. Over the years, God has been faithful to grow the church in both number and maturity, provide a permanent place to gather debt free, and bear fruit in the local community and beyond for His glory.

Bishop McLeod has a deep burden to see the church and the home shaped by the sufficiency of God’s Word. After early ministry experiences influenced by pragmatic models, the Lord led him back to a renewed confidence in Scripture as the foundation for worship, preaching, and family discipleship. This conviction led to the creation of D6Reformation.org, a resource focused on encouraging biblical family discipleship in the church and the home.

Bishop McLeod holds a Doctor of Ministry and has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty five years. He is the author of several books addressing the life of the church, biblical discipleship, and faithful stewardship, and he regularly teaches on the importance of Word centered worship and family discipleship. Bishop McLeod and his wife have home educated their children and have lived in Chesapeake, Virginia since 1994.
