The Book of Hebrews 10:31 – Falling into the Hands of the Living God
Modern Christianity often emphasizes God’s love while neglecting His justice and judgment. Hebrews 10:31 reminds us that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Scripture teaches two types of fear: the reverent fear of the Lord that drives believers to obedience, and the tormenting fear that should grip the unsaved. God’s judgment is real, and hell is described as a place of unquenchable fire, darkness, and conscious eternal torment. The most important question isn’t whether you attend church or know Bible verses, but whether you’re truly ready to meet God through genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
